Interview boxed set: "The Beatles: As It Happened" (11/22/00) Beatle interview discs are extremely plentiful, but this one is a worthy addition. For one, the package design of "The Beatles: As It Happened" is beautiful. The British set, which opens like a book, features four separate discs with a separate Beatle on each (with Ringo's disc also including George Martin, Brian Epstein, Derek Taylor, Yoko Ono and fans). The glossy booklet dates all the interviews. As is usually the case with these things, collectors will have heard some (and probably most) of the comments before, but the thing that sets this package apart is how absolutely gorgeous it is.
